Join us for an awesome day learning basic mountain biking skills at Spring Canyon Park in Fort Collins.
If you identify as WTFNB (women, trans, femme, non-binary) this event is for you. Kat will guide you through the basics of mountain biking, helping you gain confidence and have a blast on the trails. No experience necessary - we'll start from scratch and build up from there. You'll need a mountain bike, helmet, water, and snacks for the morning.
After the clinic we'll ride about 3.5 miles of trail and session some interesting sections to put our new skills to work.
Skills we will learn:
Bike/Body Separation, braking, shifting, ratcheting, switchbacks, climbing/descending, rock dodge, and more. More information here
If you have any questions email kat@wtf.bike
Heavy rain/thunderstorms the day of or in the day or so before the clinic will cancel the event. Wear appropriate clothing for the weather. Optional: Bring a lunch!
Cancellations before 10/25 will receive full refund (minus fees). After 10/25 no refunds will be extended. Gratuities are accepted.
